Helping Manufacturing Connect the Dots
Speak up, reach out, build up: That's the crux of a meet-up geared toward the needs of regional manufacturers. The Made in Santa Cruz Manufacturing Meet-up is scheduled for Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 5 pm at the R. Blitzer Gallery of the Old Wrigley building. The goal is to collect input from manufacturers and connect them to resources to grow profitably. Small and medium-sized manufacturers from 1 to 500 employees can learn about free technical assistance, state and local economic incentives, and access to capital at this free event. Scotts Valley and other Santa Cruz cities will be partnering with the Santa Cruz Small Business Development Center at Cabrillo College and California Manufacturing Technology Consulting, a federally funded nonprofit that provides technical assistance to help manufacturing businesses grow and retain jobs in California. Additional resources and information will be provided by the California Employment Training Panel and regional business service providers.
